Wanted: a lawyer with a heart
Dear editor:
I read with great interest and concern the column by editor Mick Rhodes in the December 5 issue of the Claremont Courier [“Listen more, lecture less”], about his friend and a neighbor to everyone who lives in this beautiful city, who is among those often referred to as the unhoused, who needs help to restore his Medicare benefits.
For many years I thought about returning to school to obtain a law degree, but never did so. I am therefore not qualified to offer pro bono legal services to this man in need of such. I therefore ask in this forum for some member of our community who is an attorney to help this person who is in need of legal representation to help him regain his much needed Medicare benefits.
