Students who live in or attend school in Claremont are invited to participate in the City of Claremont and Claremont Unified School District’s Making Change contest, an annual individual or group competition where students recognize the impacts of human rights and social justice champions through letters, essays, multimedia presentations, or artistic works. All entries must be submitted electronically by Friday, January 30, at claremontca.gov/making-change, where rules are posted.
Winners will receive $100 and a certificate from the city and school district at a February 23 award ceremony. Call (909) 399-5490 or email specialevents@claremontca.gov for more info.
