Local nonprofit event production company Dirty Opera hosts a 40th anniversary screening of the 1986 film “River’s Edge” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 22 at the Claremont Laemmle 5 theater, 450 W. Second St., followed by a Q&A with director Tim Hunter and cast members Daniel Roebuck and Josh Richman. The event will be moderated by author and Pomona College Roy Edward Disney ‘51 Professor of Creative Writing and Professor of English, Jonathan Lethem.
