California Botanic Garden will combine spoken word with wildflowers at its Garden of Verses Poetry Festival, running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 4 at 1500 N. College Ave., Claremont. The event comes on the heels of CalBG’s wildflower month and national poetry month and will feature poetry stations hosted by All About Town Poets, The Pasadena Poets, ‍Friends of the Claremont Library’s fourth Saturdays poetry group, and Southern California Haiku Study Group.
