Community Easter egg hunts abound

Saturday, March 28
The City of La Verne’s free 9 a.m. to noon “eggcellent adventure” at Heritage Park, 5001 Via De Mansion, features live music, a vendor fair and Easter Bunny photo opportunities. More info is at laverneca.gov.

Rancho Cucamonga’s egg shellebration, with a petting zoo, crafts stations and $10 egg hunts takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Epicenter Sports Complex, 8404 Rochester Ave. More info is at cityofrc.us/news.

Pomona hosts free 10 a.m. egg hunts for children 11 and under at Ganesha Park, 1575 N. White Ave.; Palomares Park, 499 E. Arrow Hwy.; Philadelphia Park, 700 Philadelphia St.; and Ralph Welch Park, 1000 Buena Vista Ave.

Sunday, March 29
Tickets for the 10 a.m. to noon Grand Ontario Egg Hunt at Celebration Park North, 4980 S. Celebration Ave., are $5 for Ontario residents, $7 for non-residents at ontarioca.gov/special-events.

Friday, April 3
Ontario’s Anthony Munoz Community Center, 1240 W. Fourth St., Ontario, hosts a free Easter egg hunt for kids 12 to 17 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Saturday, April 4
Claremont’s spring egg hunt takes place from 8 to 11 a.m. at Memorial Park, 840 N. Indian Hill Blvd. The event kicks off at 8 a.m. with Kiwanis Club of Claremont’s $8 pancake breakfast. A vendor fair, petting zoo, puppet show, photos with the Easter Bunny, and the special needs egg hunt begin at 9. Montclair’s “Easter eggstravaganza,” with a pancake breakfast and egg hunts for children 10 and under runs from 9 to 11 a.m. at Alma Hofman Park, 5201 Benit St.

Glendora’s Easter events, which include a free pancake breakfast, begin at 9 a.m. at Finkbiner Park, 160 N. Wabash Ave., and Gladstone Park, 600 E. Gladstone St. Egg hunts begin at 10.
