Claremont Sunrise Rotary’s 17th annual Turkey Trot was a resounding success on Thanksgiving morning, with more than 1,000 runners in the 5K and hundreds in the children’s 1K.
Vicente Huerta, 23, defended his title as 5K champion, at 15:35. His 2024, 11 seconds better than his winning time last year. Claremont’s Denise Chen captured first in the women’s 5K, at 19:09.
