Claremont Sunrise Rotary’s 17th annual Claremont Turkey Trot begins at 7:30 a.m. Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28 with the children’s 1K fun run, followed by the 5k run and walk at 8. Races will start in front of the Metrolink parking lot, 201 W. First St., and end near the Village.

Runner fees for the 1K start at $30 and 5K registration is $50. A price increase will occur Monday, November 25. Proceeds benefit Claremont Sunrise Rotary.

Late registration and packet pickup will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 27 at the Claremont Depot, 200 W. First St. Race-day packet pickup begins at 6 a.m.

Everyone in the 1K will receive a medal and a race shirt. All participants in the 5K will get a race shirt. Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finishers, and the top three male and female finishers in each age division will receive gold, silver, and bronze medals.
