La Verne Church of the Brethren’s Sanctuary Choir performs “American Songbook,” a free and open to the public concert, at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 4 and 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 7 at 2425 E St., La Verne.

The concerts will serve as a send-off for the choir before its trip to the American Songbook Festival in Derry, Northern Ireland June 19-24. The show will include works by composer Shawn Kirchner and will be conducted by Niké St. Clair.
