Benefit for local woman being treated for cancer is Saturday

Claremont Craft Ales, 1420 N. Claremont Blvd., #204c, hosts “Kimi Day,” a 1 to 10 p.m. benefit event for longtime employee and beloved Claremont fixture Kimi Ritner, who is being treated for cancer and is facing daunting medical bills.

Proceeds from beer, merchandise, and raffle ticket sales will go directly toward Kimi’s treatment. Raffle prizes include a one year subscription to the Courier, guitars, a ukulele, artwork, a skate deck, a Some Crust gift card, and lots of other Claremont-related goodies. Raffle tickets are $5 or five for $20. The event features live music from the Solid Ray Woods Revue at 1 p.m., Gold Raven at 3, the Roy Durnal Band at 5, and Mick Rhodes and the Hard Eight at 7.
