CalBG’s nighttime festival returns

California Botanic Garden, 1500 N. College Ave., Claremont, invites all to “Things That Go Bump in the Night,” a 5:30 to 9 p.m. evening event on Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19 where attendees can explore the nocturnal world of plants and animals. Festivities include interactive activities and shows, live animals, guided tours, food vendors, and exhibitors from Pomona Valley Audubon Society, San Dimas Canyon Nature Center, Guardians of the Wolves, SoCal Bat Working Group, and scientists from Harvey Mudd College and University of California, Riverside Entomology Department.

Tickets are $20 per adult and $15 for students, seniors, and children ages 3 to 12 at calbg.org. CalBG members can secure discounted tickets and children under 3 are free. For more information, call (909) 625-8767.
