On Sunday, October 17, OneDrumm invites the Claremont community out to Memorial Park to “celebrate the people who first called this land home,” according to their recent event flyer.

Their event, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, “will remember the adversity they [Indigenous people] endured, and honor their place in and contributions to the shared story of America. Come experience the heritage of our indigenous people.”

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., residents will get to learn about indigenous culture and experience traditional dancing, music, drumming, workshops, games, storytelling and crafts at the fun event.
