CFA charity golf tournament gearing up
The Children’s Foundation of America’s annual charity golf classic, presented by HUB International, is happening Monday, September 19 at the Red Hill Country Club, 8358 Red Hill Country Club Dr., Rancho Cucamonga. This year’ theme is “playing through.”
Proceeds from the event will help CFA address the needs of children who have been mistreated and placed in foster care, up for adoption, and in mental health or residential programs.
Enjoy lunch, special food tastings, on-course challenges, and opportunities to win prizes during the day-long event, which begins at 9:30 a.m. and concludes at 6 p.m. Prizes such as gift packages and a car will be up for grabs.
Golfers can register for the tournament at: childrensfoundationofamerica.org/event/cfa-classic. Singles are $500, and groups of four can play together for $2,000. Participants will receive a special T-shirt and a swag bag.
Patrons can also buy a numbered golf ball for $50 in anticipation of CFA’s annual golf ball drop. A helicopter will drop balls and the closest to the hole will win $10,000. To purchase an entry call (909) 426-0773 or email mmojarro@trinityys.org. Participants need not be present to win.
Though spread thin, sponsorship opportunities are still available. Visit childrensfoundationofamerica.org for available opportunities. To learn more about CFA, call (800) 543-7730.
