Claremont Art Walk, June 2024

The sixth Claremont Art Walk of 2024 runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 1. Here’s what’s up:

  • Ahmad Shariff Art Gallery, 107 Harvard Ave., displays works from more than 20 artists who captured the essence of Claremont in “Easel in the Village.”

  • Benton Museum of Art, 120 W. Bonita Ave., continues “Infinity on Paper: Drawings from the Collections of the Benton Museum of Art and Jack Shear,” “Stitch Field: Alice-Marie Archer’s Agritextiles,” “Continuity: Cahuilla Basket Weavers and their Legacies,” and “500 Years of Italian Drawings from the Princeton University Art Museum.”
  • Bunny Gunner, 230 W. Bonita Ave., continues “Roots of Happiness,” by Sumi Foley.
  • Casa 425, 425 W. First St., continues Gorman Bentley’s “It Just Needed to Be Said.”
  • The Claremont Forum Bookshop, 586 W. First St., hosts “Canvas 4a Cause,” a silent auction fundraiser of more than 50 paintings. Artists will be present to discuss their works. An online auction will run June 2-16.
  • Claremont Lewis Museum of Art, 200 W. First St., shows “The Great Perfection: Charles Long & Khang Bảo Nguyễn” through August 18. Enjoy jazz by Vintage Music.
  • Crescent Tree Corp, 206 W. Bonita Ave., Suite 2-N, continues “She Went for a Swim” by Lucy Mu Li.
  • The Laemmle Claremont 5 Theatre, 450 W. Second St., opens works by Kendall Johnson.
  • Pomona Valley Art Association, 317 W. First St., work by Hannah Ruff Bishop and Debra Wick.
  • Studio C, 260 W. Bonita Ave., opens Elizabeth Carr’s “100 Days of Art.”
  • Whiskey Loves Basil, 111 Harvard Ave., shows Victoria Sukhasyan’s “Dolce Vita” for its first Claremont Art Walk
