Beginning on Monday Claremont Change will be begin hosting a virtual workshop series called Identify and Dismantle Derailing Rhetoric.

“These workshops are designed to help members of our community identify, disarm, and dismantle derailing rhetorical tactics such as gaslighting, dogwhistles, tone policing, and exceptionalism,” the workshop’s organizers said in a statement.

Over the course of this five-part series, the hosts will also address common logical fallacies including red herring, straw man, ad hominem, and slippery slope arguments.
