The City of Claremont and Claremont High School Cross-Country Boosters will host the 2023 Claremont Village Freedom 5,000 race, a family-friendly run and walk through the streets of Claremont, on Saturday, July 1.

The event begins at Memorial Park and features a 1K kids fun run for ages 12 and under at 7:30 a.m., and a 5K walk/competitive race at 8.

Participants can preregister at racewire.com until 11:59 p.m. Thursday, June 29. Those who register early are guaranteed a race T-shirt. Sign-up fees vary.

On-site registration at Memorial Park will be held Friday, June 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. and again from 6 to 7:15 a.m. Saturday, July 1.
