Construction on Claremont McKenna College’s Robert Day Sciences Center is nearly complete, with the building now entering its mobilization phase. Throughout the summer, crews prepared the facility’s teaching and research laboratories and other key academic spaces in anticipation of the building’s official opening at the start of the fall semester.
The 142,000 square foot facility will welcome students on August 25 for classes, research, and collaboration. A public ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration will be held September 26.

CONGRATULATIONS CMC! This is a very magnificent and unique building design. Kudos to the architects. And thanks to the donor of funds for the building. It is a great addition to the Claremont Colleges and the City of Claremont.
