Communications union stages ‘information strike’

Frontier employees stage a “informational strike” on Friday in front of the company’s Claremont location at the corner of Bonita Avenue and Indian Hill Boulevard. The labor action was taken by the Communications Workers of America, which represents nearly 2,000 Frontier Communications workers in California following a strike vote by the workers on September 3. The current contract expired on September 4, and the worker are asking for a new contract to include better pay, healthcare benefits, stable staffing levels and job security.
