Creative Mindfulness 10 – The Odd Leftover Lot
Hello and welcome. This is Janice Hoffmann for the Claremont Courier, and thanks for taking a short break from your busy day to smile, as you listen to the next installment of “Creative Mindfulness”. Mindfulness is usually thought of as simply looking at the current moment from another perspective, but it can also be savoring a memory. Today I’m thinking of 35 years ago when Larry and I, middle-aged newlyweds, each sold our previous abodes and went house-hunting. Not finding anything already built that we wanted, we became the third owners of an odd leftover lot in an otherwise developed Claremont neighborhood. When you ask for what you want, it may not come packaged the way you expected.
