Get ready for a busy Saturday in Claremont
Claremont’s Earth Day Celebration will take place from
10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with vendors and informational booths
set up throughout the Village.
Organized by Sustainable Claremont, the Claremont Interfaith
Committee on Sustainability and the city of Claremont,
the day will include children’s events, workshops,
demonstrations, speakers and information on sustainability.
Also this Saturday, residents are invited to come meet
the artist who created the Big Bugs art exhibition at Rancho
Santa Ana Botanic Garden, David Rogers, whose artwork
is on view until July 15.
Light refreshments will be served and artist will be
available to answer questions and talk about the exhibition.
The reception will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, and from
1 to 3 p.m.
You can wind up your Saturday by attending A Taste of
Claremont from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Administrative Campus
Center of the Claremont University Consortium, 101 S.
Mills Ave. Tickets may be purchased online at www.tasteof
claremont.org for $65 or may be purchased for $75 at
the door.
