Election Day is here

Polling centers are open until 8 p.m. today at Claremont Unified School District’s Richard S. Kirkendall Education Center, 170 W. San Jose Ave.; Granite Creek Community Church, 1580 N. Claremont Blvd.; Condit Elementary School, 1750 N. Mountain Ave.; and Fairplex, 1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona.

For those planning to vote by mail, ballot drop boxes are located at Claremont Helen Renwick Library, 208 N. Harvard Ave., and the Alexander Hughes Community Center, 1700 Danbury Rd. Ballots need to be dropped off by 8 p.m. tonight.

The Courier will update its website today with local race returns, including those for Claremont City Council District 1 and 5, and CUSD Board of Education Trustee Area 5, as they become available.
