Former Claremonter Danielle Allen running for Massachusetts governor

Democratic candidate for governor of Massachusetts Danielle Allen, who is also a native of Claremont, held a virtual discussion on Tuesday, September 28, via Zoom. But please use the email below to get a recording of the event plus other information about Allen’s candidacy.

The three-hour discussion was a conversation about the future of democracy and will feature special guest Laurence Tribe, the Carl M. Loeb University professor and professor of constitutional law at Harvard.

Allen, who lead the event, is currently in a race for governor of Massachusetts — 2,938 miles away from her native community. The Democratic candidate is also the James Bryant Conant University professor at Harvard University and sits as the director of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics.

Allen, who is a graduate of Claremont High School, is the daughter of Susan Allen and former Claremont Unified School District board member William Allen.
