Claremont Fourth starts with pancakes, ends with a bang!

On this particular Claremont July Fourth, the moon shared the spotlight during the annual fireworks show.

The Fourth celebration continues Thursday, when the city’s Fourth of July events at Memorial Park. Learn what’s happening at claremont4th.org.

Pancake breakfast 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. 

Flag raising ceremony at 9:00 a.m.

City parade 10:00 a.m. and park festival at 10:00 to 2:00 p.m.

T. Willard Hunter Speakers Corner at 11:00 to 2 p.m. (Courier publisher Peter Weinberger speaks at 11:30 a.m.)

Concert and fireworks show

Gates open at 6:30 p.m.

Kiwanis BBQ 6:30 to 9 p.m.

Live concert with Upstream 6:45 p.m.

Fireworks at 9:00 p.m.

5K and 1K run/walk

The City of Claremont kicked off its Fourth of July-themed festivities Saturday, hosting its annual Freedom 5K and 1K children’s races.
