The Claremont Village Freedom 5000 race, an annual family-friendly run and walk through Claremont, is set for Saturday, July 1 and will be hosted by the City of Claremont and Claremont High School Cross-Country Boosters.

The event, held at Memorial Park, 840 N. Indian Hill Blvd., kicks off with the 1K kids fun run for ages 12 and under at 7:30 a.m., followed by a 5K walk/competitive race at 8.

Participants can pre-register until 11:59 p.m. Thursday, June 29 at racewire.com. Onsite registration takes place at Memorial Park Friday, June 30 from 5 to 8 p.m. and 6 to 7:15 a.m. Saturday, July 1. Fees vary but early registrants are guaranteed a T-shirt.
