Hundreds took part in Inland Valley Hope Partners’ 52nd annual walk for the hungry and homeless on Saturday, completing the three-mile route around the Claremont Colleges and raising about $10,000 for food security and housing programs.

“This is all just for our mission to feed the hungry and the homeless here in Claremont, Pomona, Ontario, the surrounding cities,” said Hope Partners’ CEO Kami Grosvenor.

Upland resident Susan Riccio has been participating in the fundraiser for 15 years. “Especially with just everything going on in our country, in the world these days, I’d like to do something instead of just … doing nothing,” she said.
