Inland Valley Repertory Theatre celebrated its 35th anniversary at Padua Hills Theater May 21 with a fundraising gala that netted just over $60,000 for theater programming including the upcoming Camp IVRT and the nonprofit’s Panther Performing Arts Workshop at El Roble Intermediate School.
“We are deeply grateful to our community of supporters,” IVRT Artistic Director Frank Minano wrote in a statement. “This gala was not just a fundraiser — it was a celebration of the powerful role theatre plays in enriching lives, building community and giving voice to important stories. Every ticket purchased and every dollar raised helps us continue to make high-quality theatre accessible across the Inland Valley.”
During the event, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger commended Mount San Antonio Gardens resident Gloria Slosberg for her 35 years of IVRT support and former city manager Bridget Healy as President Emeritus on the nonprofit’s board of trustees. Claremont Vice Mayor Jennifer Stark presented IVRT founders Frank and Donna Marie Minano with a certificate recognizing 35 years. Other honorees included Dawn Ellen Ferry, Gloria Doty, and Shaun Fesler.
