Jubilee music celebration set for July 3
Last Name Brewing is hosting the inaugural Thee American Jubilee, a celebration of American music, with five artists playing this Saturday, July 3, from 4 to 10 p.m.
The Jubilee is “a celebration of America’s greatest, most world-changing export: its music,” according to a press release. “We’ve sought out great artists from all our American musical traditions: blues, jazz, country, bluegrass, hip-hop, and of course, rock ‘n’ roll. The Jubilee showcases new and traditional takes on these forms, and raises a glass of great beer to America as well.”
The inaugural lineup includes David Serby and The Latest Scam at 4 p.m., Grant Langston and The Supermodels (5:15), Tom Freund (6:30), Preston Smith and The Crocodiles (7:45) and the return of Farmer Tan at 9 p.m.
Tickets are $5 and are available at https://www.lastnamebrewing.com/taj or at the door.
“This year’s Jubilee is the first of what will be an annual occurrence, with expanded rosters and wider, deeper reaches into America’s rich musical history yet to come,” read the Last Name press release.
The brewery is bringing in expanded staging, lights and audio for the Jubilee, and food trucks will be on hand. More information is at https://www.lastnamebrewing.com/taj.
