A group of 11 undergraduate students from Konkuk Business School in South Korea recently wrapped a weeklong summer program that featured “a hands-on learning experience in American business culture, leadership, and career development,” according to a news release, organized by Pacific States University and held at Claremont Graduate University Drucker School of Management. In addition to workshops and lectures, students met with members of Southern California’s Korean-American business community.
“This program was more than just a study tour,” Junic Kim, chair of Konkuk’s Department of Business Administration, wrote in a statement. “It served as a meaningful bridge for young leaders from Korea and the U.S. to learn from one another across cultures and values. The fact that it all happened in Claremont, in the very home of Peter Drucker, made it even more powerful.”
