Locals among LA Times’ ‘Best of Southland’ survey

The Los Angeles Times announced winners and finalists for its 2023 Best of the Southland San Gabriel Valley/Inland Empire reader survey this week, and several locals made the cut, including Claremont, which was selected as a finalist for best city.

In the food and drink category, Last Name Brewing was named the best local craft brewery in the region while Claremont Craft Ales was a finalist.

The Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College was voted the best museum and California Botanic Garden was a finalistin entertainment and living.

In health and wellness, Mount San Antonio Gardens was voted best senior living care and retirement facility.

Some Crust Bakery was voted as a finalist for the bakery section, Klaus and Sons a finalist for plumbing in home and garden, and Bridges Auditorium a finalist for the best place to see a concert.
