Luminaria Nights returns to CalBG
Luminaria Nights, California Botanic Garden’s annual winter lights showcase with luminarias, string lights, and live music along garden pathways, opens Thursday, December 12 with a 6 to 9 p.m. CalBG member preview and VIP reception at 1500 N. College Ave., Claremont. Tickets are $15 for members, $10 for member students, seniors and children, at calbg.org.
The event opens to the public from 6 to 9 p.m. December 13-14 and 20-21. Non-member adult tickets are $20, with students, seniors and children $15.
Each night will include food trucks, drinks, sweet treats, and “Fluorescent Flowers,” a photography exhibit by Craig Burrows.
Musical acts however include Steven Rushingwind (December 12, 13, 20), Moonshine and Daydreams (December 12), LA River String Band (December 12), The Jazz Doctors (December 13), Jouyssance Early Music Ensemble (December 13), Anamaria De La Cruz (December 14), Living Earth (December 14), Pheobe Madison Schrafft (December 14 and 21), musicians from the Claremont Community School of Music (December 20), Ray McNamara Ensemble (December 20 and 21), and Lilia Ensemble (December 21).
