On June 28, Claremont Police Department Sergeant Jeff Ting, Corporal William Livingston, and Corporal Eddie Lomeli received 23152 DUI awards from Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

“The 23152 pin is awarded to sworn peace officers for their service in locating and arresting impaired drivers during a one-year period,” a post from the city said. “This is Sergeant Ting’s first award, Corporal Livingston’s fourth award, and Corporal Lomeli’s first award. Between these three officers they made over 110 arrests for driving under the influence.”

The City of Claremont and COURIER congratulate and thank Sergeant Ting and Corporals Livingston and Lomeli for their continued efforts in making our roadways safer.
