Monday morning hike gets furry friends out and about

A Monday Morning Walk with Friends

Starting Monday, August 2 at 9 A.M., Priceless Pets Rescue shelter in Claremont will host their first ever Monday Walk. According to an event flyer, the walk is actually a hike and is meant to help their furry friends get out of the shelter, “stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh air.”

The group will meet at Higginbotham Park in Claremont on Monday mornings in August and will walk their adoptable, furry friends for 90 minutes. Participants are encouraged to sign up early as spots fill up quickly. The walk is aimed at getting the pets “much-needed socialization and most of all get an opportunity to be out of the adoption center for a morning!”

Similar walks on Friday and Sunday mornings are held at Priceless Pets Rescue in Chino Hills; however, August 2 will be the first hike for the Claremont shelter. All ages are welcome to participate; however, children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For more information on the event, contact Priceless Pets Rescue at (909) 203-3695.
