The public is invited to a festival of nature nerdiness at California Botanic Garden, 1500 N. College Way, Claremont, co-hosted by The Webb Schools Alf Museum of Paleontology from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, August 31.

The event features pop culture plant trivia, nature-themed board games, a native plant side quest event, a pop-up museum, food trucks, a cosplay photo station and contest, and more.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students, seniors and children ages 3 to 12. Member tickets are $15 and $10. Children under 3 are free.
