News from Shoes That Fit

Claremont-based nonprofit Shoes That Fit recently announced it has welcomed Nike’s Vice President of Community Partners Jeremy Bolds to its board of directors. Bolds holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University.

Shoes That Fit helped donate approximately 1,603 pairs of shoes to youth across Southern California in April.

On April 11, in partnership with Dena and Lou McMurray, 833 children in the Fresno area received new shoes. The following day, in partnership with the Los Angeles Rams and HealthNet, about 350 students at Bennet-Kew Elementary School in Inglewood received new athletic shoes. Then on April 17, the organization brought 420 new pairs of Adidas shoes to students at Grant Elementary School in Los Angeles.
