Police Blotter: November 28, 2025

Monday, November 17

After receiving reports of a car doing circles in the street, or “donuts,” Claremont Police Department officers stopped a driver near Foothill Boulevard and Towne Avenue at 1:20 a.m. The 18-year-old Claremont resident was arrested for misdemeanor reckless driving, transported to Claremont jail, booked, and later released with a citation to appear at Pomona Superior Court.

A records check of a 28-year-old Pomona bicyclist stopped for alleged vehicle code violations at 10:40 p.m. near Foothill Boulevard and Lynoak Drive showed misdemeanor La Verne and felony LA County Sheriff’s Department warrants. He was arrested and transported to CPD, where he was booked and held for court. He was later transferred to the Inmate Reception Center in Los Angeles, then to the North County Correctional Facility in Castaic, where he is being held in lieu of $26,000 bail. He is due to appear in Rio Hondo Municipal Court on December 4.

Tuesday, November 18

A person phoned CPD at 10:22 a.m. to report their unit at StorQuest, 454 W. Base Line Rd., had been broken into. An investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, November 20

Police spoke with a 55-year-old Pomona man outside Denny’s, 820 S. Indian Hill Blvd., at 12:35 a.m. who allegedly told them he was on probation and was in possession of methamphetamine and a meth pipe. A records check confirmed his probation status and a search allegedly found meth and a pipe, leading to his arrest for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and unlawful paraphernalia. He was transported to CPD, booked, and released with a citation.

 

Friday, November 21

A man was reported trespassing at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, 555 W. Foothill Blvd., at 5:50 a.m. Arriving officers spoke with the man, a 44-year-old Pasadena resident, and a records check confirmed he was not permitted on hotel property, leading to his arrest for misdemeanor trespassing. He was transported to CPD, booked, and released with a citation.

A 7:24 a.m. report of a man exposing himself drew police to Dollar Tree, 342 S. Indian Hill Blvd., where they found a Long Beach man, 23, allegedly holding a narcotics pipe with his pants pulled down. He was subsequently arrested for misdemeanor indecent exposure, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance, and transported to CPD, where police say he exposed himself to city staff. He was later found to be on probation, adding a felony probation violation charge. He was booked, held for detoxification, and later transferred to Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles where he is being held without bail.

Claremont police questioned a man at 11:41 p.m. at Foothill Boulevard and Towne Avenue, and allege he lied about his name. They later learned he was a 26-year-old from Claremont, and a  subsequent search allegedly found methamphetamine, leading to his arrest for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and giving false ID to a peace officer. He was transported to the Claremont jail, booked, and released with a citation.

Saturday, November 22

Police were called to Chevron/McDonald’s, 860 S. Indian Hill Blvd., at 8:33 p.m. on reports of a man in the parking lot refusing to leave. A records check turned up misdemeanor Claremont and San Bernardino County warrants, and he was arrested, transported to CPD, booked, and later released with a citation.
