“The heroes that we honor today, they’re not exclusive to any gender, race, or religion,” Mushinskie said. “They come from all economic classes and backgrounds. They hail from all 50 of our states. Some have even migrated from other countries. They’re a diverse group wedded to the belief that America is a nation worth dying for.”

Floral tributes were presented by Active Claremont, Claremont Chapter of National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Claremont Masonic Lodge, Claremont Sunrise Rotary, Friends of Oak Park Cemetery, Kiwanis Club of Claremont, Rotary Club of Claremont, and Woman’s Club of Claremont.
