The city of Claremont has lowered its flags to half staff in honor of former mayor and council member Judy Wright who died Saturday, January 6th at 12:55 a.m. after going into cardiac arrest last week. Ms. Wright authored a COURIER column, A Sense of History, for many years, as well as 3 books detailing Claremont’s history. Ms. Wright’s contributions to Claremont are endless as she served on the city council and as mayor, and worked to form many organizations including Claremont Heritage.
