Construction crews are hard at work at Peppertree Square in anticipation of its newest tenant. Dollar Tree, a store chain offering an eclectic mix of household items, beauty products, food and more at discount prices, received building permits from the City of Claremont to begin customizing the space and is expected to open by the end of 2015. The Peppertree Square shopping center, located on the southeast corner of Indian Hill and Arrow Highway, remains busy, but has been without an anchor despite promising prospects in recent years. The south Claremont marketplace underwent extensive renovations in 2014 as it remodeled existing buildings, re-graded the parking lot and created space for a grocery store or pharmacy.
