An emergency situation involving a teenage girl unfolded near Claremont HIgh School Friday night.

The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. on Indian Hill Boulevard near the school, according to Lt. Lori Davenport of the Claremont Police Department. A football game was just letting out around that time, but Lt. Davenport stressed that the incident was not related to the game or the school.

Police would not release any additional information regarding the incident due to the girl’s age, Lt. Davenport said, only that she was transported to a hospital and it was “handled.”
