Claraboya maintenance water project starts March 12
Golden State Water Company will begin repair to the Claraboya Reservoir starting Monday, March 12 as part of a $3.1 million plan to improve the water company’s infrastructure within the city of Claremont.
The Claraboya maintenance project, which Golden State Water projects at an estimated $286,500, will improve the reservoir’s current structure and recoat the steel tank both internally and externally. The company hopes improvements will help extend the reservoir’s lifespan. This project is one of many Golden State Water says it has in the works for the city of Claremont.
Maintenance will take place Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The estimated completion date is April 27. According to Golden State Water, customers living near North Mountain Avenue and Via Espirito Santos may experience a slight drop in water pressure.
