Large pile of stolen mail found at unlikely location
The U.S. Postal Service is investigation a large quantity of stolen mail found at Padua Hills Theatre Saturday afternoon, March 10. The stolen mail was addressed to Claremont residences on Cook Road, Fuller Drive and Fergus Falls, as well as addresses out of Rancho Cucamonga. After being contacted by the Claremont Police Department, the U.S. Postal Service took over the case earlier this week. Investigation is ongoing.
Vandals hit College Avenue
Three homes and a park in the 300 and 400 blocks of College Avenue were targeted in a chain vandalism reported around 9 a.m. on Friday, March 9. Sometime over night 3 parked cars were marked with a line of gold spray paint. A brick wall near the entrance of Blaisdell Park was also sprayed gold. Investigation is ongoing.
