Police looking for suspects in Forbes Avenue burglary
Police are looking for three men who burglarized a home on the 2300 block of Forbes Avenue Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 4 p.m. on July 9, the thieves reportedly entered the back yard of the home and smashed a rear sliding glass door, according to a release from the Claremont Police Department. There is no information as to what was stolen from the house.
Officers contacted a neighbor, who had surveillance footage that captured the suspects committing the crime and getting away.
The first suspect is described as an African-American man, six feet tall with a thick build and wearing a light colored t-shirt and jeans. The second suspect is described as an African-American man, wearing a dark-colored t-shirt and shorts, and the third suspect is described as an African-American man wearing a blue shirt and jeans.
Police described the getaway car as a black mid-2000s Ford Focus. The car is missing the right rear hubcap, and was last seen driving south on Forbes Avenue.
