Condit School kids deliver love notes to cancer patients
Patients at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center’s (PVHMC) Robert and Beverly Lewis Family Cancer Care Center were greeted by fifth grade students from Condit Elementary School just before the school year ended.
The students delivered more than 40 handmade cards filled with words of encouragement for patients. After sharing their inspirational messages with patients, the students presented a $200 donation to the Lewis Family Cancer Care Center. The students chose to support PVHMC because a beloved first-grade teacher from Condit Elementary recently received treatment at the center.
The Robert & Beverly Lewis Family Cancer Care Center recently celebrated 25 years of treating oncology patients. To learn more about the PVHMC’s Robert and Beverly Lewis Family Cancer Care Center, visit pvhmc.org.
