The City of Upland invites runners to participate in its inaugural Summer Sprint 5K and 1K Kids’ Dash Saturday, June 3, which will begin and end at McCarthy Park, 2000 N. San Antonio Ave., Upland. Check-in and on-site registration will begin at 6:45 a.m.

The 1K for children ages 9 or younger begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 5K for all ages at about 8.

Day of race registration is $35 for the 5K and $25 for the 1K. Online registration is available through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, May 28 at racewire.com. Discounts are offered for groups of five or more. 

This is the second race in Upland’s 5K trifecta challenge. Those who complete the Lemon Zest 5K, Summer Sprint, and Turkey Trot 5K will receive a commemorative medal. Call (909) 931-4280 or go to uplandca.gov/2023-5k-trifecta-challenge for more info.
