AARP hosts August 16 senior driving class
The American Association of Retired Persons hosts a 9:30 a.m. driver’s safety course at the Alexander Hughes Community Center, 1700 Danbury Rd., Claremont, on Wednesday, August 16. The course is meant for drivers 50 and older who have taken the full two-day smart driver’s course and want to improve their skills.
A DMV certificate will be issued at the conclusion of the five-hour course granting participants an auto insurance discount. A materials fee of $25 ($20 for AARP members) is required.
