Raymond M. Alf Museum of Paleontology’s Fossil Fest takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at 1175 W. Baseline Rd., Claremont.

Paleontologists from the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum, Western Science Center, University of California, Riverside’s Earth and Planetary Science Department; the Southern California Paleontological Society will be on hand to share scientific stories. The museum will also open its collections for tours.

Event admission is $7, free for kids 4 and under, California teachers, and Museums for All members. More information is at alfmuseum.org/events/fossil-fest.
