The American Museum of Ceramic Art, 399 N. Garey Ave. Pomona, hosts an open to the public 4 p.m. opening reception for “Systematic Erosion” by Cj Jilek and “A Traveler’s Guide to Mettlach: Villeroy and Boch” on Saturday, September 9.

“Systematic Erosion,” on view in the Igal and Diane Silber Vault Gallery, addresses social justice for women with undertones of environmentalism and runs through December 17.

“A Traveler’s Guide to Mettlach: Villeroy and Boch” showcases everyday life in 1800s Mettlach, Germany, and is on view in the Robert and Colette Wilson Gallery through June 30, 2025.
