American Museum of Ceramic Art invites local high school students to apply for its 2023-2024 teen council at amoca.org/education/teen-council, click “2023-2024 Application.” The deadline is Friday, August 25.

During weekly in-person gatherings the council creates ceramics and explores AMOCA behind the scenes. The program has also been known to take council members on field trips to other museums, and help to develop teenagers’ professional skills, including how to showcase work during its annual “teen takeover” exhibit.

The group meets Tuesdays from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. late September to early October and again in spring 2024. Meeting times are subject to change.
