Art to unite against hate

The City of Claremont is asking artists of all ages to submit work that fits the theme “Claremont Stands United Against Hate” by Wednesday, November 1, in preparation for United Against Hate Week, a national call to action to stop hate and implicit biases that takes place from Sunday, November 12, to Saturday, November 18.

The winner will receive a $150 gift card, recognition at the November 14 Claremont City Council meeting, and their design will be used on marketing materials for Claremont’s UAHW campaign. Works can be submitted as 10-by-10-inch digital images of at least 300 dots per inch to bhandel@ci.claremont.ca.us, or can be dropped off at Claremont City Hall, 207 N. Harvard Ave. Include your full name, age (if under 18), address, and phone number.
