Cal Poly to host Latino College Expo
Local students are invited to the 10th annual Latino College Expo outside of Bronco Center at Cal Poly Pomona, 3801 W. Temple Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, September 16. This free and open to the public networking event is for college and high school students exploring their educational options.
Representatives from more than 60 institutions including junior and four-year colleges will be on hand with information about financial aid, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, certification programs, trade schools, and more. Seminars will also cover topics such as careers, preparing for college, the benefits of going away to college, and student athlete info.
