Claremont Forum seeking book donations

Claremont Forum Bookshop, 586 W. First St., is requesting book donations for inmates across the country as part of its Prison Library Project.

The nonprofit is requesting fiction and nonfiction Spanish-language books; Spanish-to-English and American Sign Language dictionaries and grammar books; fiction and nonfiction LGBTQ+ titles; African and Native American texts; memoirs of recent public figures and celebrities; fiction from the last decade; manga, comics or westerns; books on trade skills, self-help, arts and crafts, and education; complete sets of games or puzzles; and rare books, vinyl records, CDs, and DVDs.

Donations can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays. For more information email mckenna@claremontforum.org.
